SHURE INCORPORATED - A VISIONARY COMPANY
|
In 1925, S. N. Shure founded the Shure Radio Parts company in Chicago, Illinois. It began as a mail order business selling radio parts before radios were mass produced and sold. When the Great Depression happened, the market for radio parts kits declined and factory-built radio sets became available. The company began selling and marketing microphones in 1929 and today is one of the world’s leading audio electronics manufacturers.

BUFORD JONES’ PASSION FOR THE MUSIC
|
Buford Jones started in the business with the desire to be a musician. He enjoyed playing guitar and getting together with friends and trying to create music. “I had played for about 5 years before joining Showco and then I found that I could play music in another manner than strumming the guitar. After touring began, I carried a guitar with me for many years and played during time off but got my music thrills by mixing live sound”, he said.

ENGINEER DANIEL FERNANDEZ WITH BETO CUEVAS IN ARGENTINA
|
Sound Engineer Daniel Fernández from Venezuela was in charge of taking Beto Cuevas‘s new songs (former La Ley) to the Argentinean audience during two performances: the first one was a more intimate event for the press and guests in a space called Cabaret, inside the Faena Hotel in Buenos Aires. And after the show in Santiago (Chile), they came back to the city once again to perform at the Gran Rex Theater.
